My last project while interning at the Space Systems Research Laboratory was designing the first iteration of the CubeSat's onboard PCB. To familiarize myself with the electrical system, I began by making a diagram containing every physical electrical connection on the spacecraft. I then taught myself how to use Eagle CAD software to design the PCB. With Eagle, I made the schematic, layout, and gerber files, all shown below. The footprints for many of the components included in the PCB were not available online, so I made them myself. After completion, the board was ordered and used to help test communication between electrical components.
This is the diagram I made to familiarize myself with the CubeSat's electrical systems. Every electrical connection on the satellite is included.
